Starting in India’s tobacco business at age 14, he immigrated to Chicago in 1988 and became a Maaco partner by 1990. Over three decades, he built 12 Maaco locations across Chicagoland, expanded into grocery and liquor retail, and, in 2022, launched Vedara Ventures into hospitality.

Today, the Patel family proudly manages nine hotels. His journey is a testament to resilience, faith, and entrepreneurial drive — a legacy that guides Vedara Ventures across industries.
